Public safety is the foundation of a strong, thriving community, and I’m dedicated to ensuring it remains a top priority.
I voted to provide better pay for the Hutto Police Department to help our city retain top talent and remain competitive with surrounding areas to ensure our city stays safe.
I will continue advocating for improved facilities for our Police and Public Works departments—spaces that are safe, functional, and reflect the pride our employees take in serving Hutto.
I recognize that our infrastructure has fallen behind, and I’m dedicated to making the improvements needed to enhance our community’s daily life.
I have supported Hutto’s annual road maintenance fund and fought to keep those costs in the city budget—not on residents’ utility bills.
I will work to get projects completed that have already received funding and I will continue advocating for smart, long-term investments that serve all of Hutto.
Water is our most precious resource—and it's in high demand across Central Texas. While water is available, the costs to deliver it, along with maintaining and operating our Heart of Texas water system, have increased. It's essential we plan responsibly to ensure continued access and sustainability.
I have pushed for the city to better educate residents about our current water situation—so everyone is informed about water usage, conservation, and critical updates like water disruptions, line breaks, or boil water notices. It’s important that our community not only receives timely information but also understands the reasons behind restrictions and the importance of preserving this vital resource.
I understand that water is a regional issue, and Hutto must work with neighboring cities to develop shared, long-term solutions. We simply cannot afford to tackle this challenge alone.
