About Amberley Kolar

Amberley is a native Texan and has lived in Hutto since 2018. She and her husband, Michal, started their family in Hutto and have two children, Mason and Astrid, and a labrador retriever named Ragnar.   

Amberley attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She completed her Masters of Science in Global Security Studies from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.  

Amberley’s professional career has focused on federal and state policy in Washington, D.C. and Austin. She values her community and believes that local government is the most important to individuals. Amberley believes it is vital to have an effective local government working for its residents. She is excited to work with the residents of Hutto to ensure that Hutto thrives in the years and decades to come as the area continues to see population growth as well as business opportunities.
